Central Italy meets central Victoria. Sour cherry, tobacco leaf and earthy complexity.

The fruit came to us from a beautifully kept vineyard in the warm climate region of Heathcote in central Victoria. It was grown using with high attention to detail in the vineyard, creating amazing flavour concentration at low sugar levels, resulting in wine with great finesse.

Old world meets new world perfectly in this wine - the Tuscan grape shows its heritage with sour cherry and dried herb characteristics intertwined with supple tannins and vibrant acid, whilst the Australian climate allows it to balance this with a generous, fleshy fruit profile that creates the perfect weight on the mid palate.

This Sangiovese is perfect to enjoy with friends over a long lunch (perhaps followed by a little siesta).
