Very Good Shiraz has been grown around Sunbury for decades and over the years it's been very famous and awarded, but these days it is not widely known. We think that's a shame because it makes beautiful medium-bodied wine, quite different to the typical bold Australian Shiraz. Help us bring it back!

The fruit was hand sorted before being fermented in open fermenters (with 15% whole bunches). It was hand pressed then matured in French Oak barriques (15% new) for 6 months or so.

The result is a medium-weight, silky, spicy, vibrant Shiraz that’s great for all seasons. It’s perfect now that the weather is turning a bit cooler, but you could do worse than chilling it a bit on a hot day too. Aromas of blue fruit and soft bakery spice with juicy blueberry, silky tannin and a hint of xmas cake on the palate.
