Generous stonefruit, citrus & mineral acidity.

This Chardonnay fruit from Sunbury was special, so we decided this wine was worthy of some special treatment: Hand picked, gently pressed, fermented in oak barrels and matured in a higher proportion of new oak (around 25%) than we use for most of our wines.

We’re pretty excited by the result - the freshness of the fruit keeps the oaky-ness and buttery-ness in check, and it strikes the perfect balance between generous fruit and firm natural acidity.

Nose: A hint of toasty oak, lemon zest & peach crumble
Palate: Silky lemon curd & white nectarine, with freshness and drive provided by minerally acidity

ABOUT FULL NOISE: Sometimes the stars align to create a batch of fruit that's really exceptional. So we created a new range - Full Noise - for a small handful of wines made from the best fruit of the season, and given a bit more new oak and time in the barrel.
